THIS MACHINE KILLS FASHIONISM — FIELD SHIRT

Woody Guthrie carried a guitar with the words “This Machine Kills Fascists” scrawled across it. We figured fashion could use a little killing too.

The Guthrie Field Shirt takes its cues from vintage military utility wear—the sort of garment built for work rather than runways—and turns it into our own small act of sabotage. Washed olive cotton, oversized chest pockets, a raw-cut hem and a GUTHRIE name patch give it the appearance of something pulled from an old footlocker and worn until the rules stopped mattering.

Across the back, Guthrie’s legendary declaration gets an alteration:

THIS MACHINE KILLS FASHIONISM.

Not fashion. Fashionism. The endless churn of trends, manufactured cool and being told what you’re supposed to wear this week. Guthrie aimed his machine at something considerably more serious. Ours is just taking the piss out of an industry that occasionally deserves it.

Worn-in, stripped down and deliberately unfinished. No seasonal color story. No algorithm-approved aesthetic. Just a damn good field shirt.

Details: Washed military olive construction • Guthrie chest name patch • Oversized button-flap utility pockets • Large “THIS MACHINE KILLS FASHIONISM” back print • Raw distressed hem • Button front and cuffs • Relaxed unisex fit

Trends die. Good clothes don’t.
