In the late 70s and early 80s, Glenn Danzig didn't just buy merch—he made it. Before the Misfits became a global phenomenon, Glenn hand-painted his own Captain Harlock shirt, a DIY punk aesthetic homage to the iconic 1978 space pirate manga, and became one of the most iconic Misfits fan merch items. He wore it everywhere, most famously on the cover of the 1982 classic Walk Among Us. Legend has it he lost the original hand-painted shirt to a crowd during a show in 1983, and it hasn't been seen since.

It is pretty awesome fits great the print seems sturdy only tine will truly tell on that level . Grew up Watching Captain Harlock space pirate also enjoyed the music of Samhain and The Misfits and Danzig an all other punk an Gothic type stuff.good job with putting this shirt out.i sent a picture of myself in it to a buddy who grew up a town over in Jersey from the Misfits guys he said that our algorithms must be very similar cause he has one on the way to him as well. He is in Saudi now as a Helicopter pilot but with all the action going on over that way he an his family are currently taking a little down time in Italy.

Where to start?! This shirt is FANTASTIC!!!!! OK, ordering was simple and shipping was quick, The Western Evil Team knows what's up and how to do great business! Back to the shirt, I ordered the large, I'm a woman, chest 42 and it fits perfectly. Not too tight and super soft. The design is great, very clean lines and it feels expensive, not your basic print tee. The curved hem is great, I love that it flows to my top hip area. I'm not a fan of short or cropped tees, they just don't work for me but this shirt is great!!! Yes I luv Danzig, and yes I LUV MCR/Gerard!!! This is a great way to represent and feel good out there. The shirt is great. It looks exactly like the old Captain Harlock shirt that Danzig wore during early Misfits. I would say though get a size smaller than you normally wear. Ill definitely buy other stuff from Western Evil again.
I didn't realize it was at 3/4 sleeve I just thought the guy had his slaves pushed up in the picture. Think it's way too expensive for what it costs.

Very comfortable material. I'm curious how it'll hold up over time. No reason for me to think that I wouldn't. It's a little overpriced but it could cost extra for the two arm prints. I was super happy to get it. It looks good on me and I get compliments.
